FNM - Official Event Information

Let the Friday Night Madness Begin!
Bull’s-Eye News Official Report
May 16, 2006

Preregistration for the WSOD Friday Night Madness event officially closed at 8:00 PM (EST) on Monday, May 15, 2006, but only after guaranteeing 228 hopeful players their positions in not only the FNM qualifying event, itself, but also in the pages of American darting history.

As previously announced, registration for this eleventh-hour qualifier is being capped at 256 participants (or 8 players per board, competing on 32 boards during Phase One play). This leaves only 28 positions remaining available for those players who missed out on pre-registering, but who still wish to come and compete in this historic event.

Registration for those 28 coveted positions will be available on site at the Mohegan Sun Resort at the FNM Event Registration / Check-In desk between the hours of 5:00 - 6:45 PM Friday night, May 19, 2006 —just prior to the start of the event.

Onsite registration is $50 (Cash Only) and will be handled on a strictly “first-come, first-serve” basis. Given the incredible interest in this event, and the number of interested players who’ve likely not registered yet, we’re certain registration for the FNM event will sell out. Therefore, we strongly recommend that, if you intend to compete Friday night, you should arrive early and plan to be on cue in line at the event registration desk at (or before) 5:00 PM. Again, these remaining positions will be awarded on a strictly “first-come, first-serve” basis, so if more than 28 players arrive to play, there is no guaranteed position for anyone.

As a reminder to ALL players:
ALL players must be able to provide acceptable proof of citizenship at check-in in order to participate in any and all of the 2006 World Series of Darts events.

If you have not yet read and fully understand the Rules & Regulations associated with the 2006 WSOD events, and/or the details regarding the schedule of events, registration process and format for the the Friday Night Madness competition, please do so now.  Participation in this event will be taken as acceptance of all the rules and provisions contained in these documents, so don’t skip this important step, lest you find yourself outside the event looking in!

As a reminder to pre-registered players:
Even though you have pre-registered for the event, you must check-in at the registration desk, in person, prior to 6:45 PM or your position in the competition will be forfeited —without refund.

The hour is nearly upon us... There can be only four.

Let the Friday Night Madness begin!
