World Series Delight For Carter PDC / Bull’s-Eye News Official Event Report February 06, 2006
ROGER CARTER is the second American player to win a place in the World Series of Darts, following his success in Sunday's Atlanta Qualifier.
Carter overcame River Ridge's Scott Wollaston 4-3 in a thrilling final to book his spot alongside 15 other Americans at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.
They will come up against the top 16 PDC players, with an American winner taking home $1 million.
Carter, who appeared in four Embassy Championships in the 1990's as well as the 2003 Las Vegas Desert Classic, said: "I'm delighted.
"I was confident coming into this event and the World Series of Darts has really got me excited."
