		Area Accommodations Q: I’m planning on attending the main event at the Mohegan Sun, but can’t afford their room rates. Where else can I stay in the area? In response to numerous inquiries from Bull’s-Eye News readers, many of whom are already making plans to attend the historic, inaugural World Series of Darts event this May, we have contacted the Mohegan Sun Resort and —with their help— have compiled a list of nearby, alternative hotel/motel accommodations in the Uncasville, Connecticut area. (See below.) While it would certainly be wonderful (and preferable) to stay right there at the beautiful Mohegan Sun property, itself, they realize (as do we) that the room rates of this luxurious, four-star resort may be well beyond many players’ travel budgets for that weekend. This diverse list of alternative area accommodations though, which they frequently use for guest overflow, should include options to fit most everyone’s budget. It is also our understanding that many of these nearby properties also provide regular shuttles to and from the Mohegan Sun facility, but we highly recommend that you confirm the availability of these transportation services when making your room reservations at your chosen hotel. For those driving to the event, you’ll be pleased to know that the Mohegan Sun Resort boasts over 13,000 onsite parking spaces for patrons, as well as complimentary valet parking services. Whatever your travel and transportation plans, if you are planning on attending the World Series of Darts event, we strongly recommend that you act early in finalizing your arrangements.
