Big Guns Gear Up For FA Cup Of Darts At The Reebok

Tickets have gone on sale for the inaugural UK Open Darts Championship Final at the De Vere Whites Hotel/Reebok Stadium between May 30th-June 1st. This is the Professional Darts Corporation’s fifth annual live televised event on Sky Sports.

The culmination of ten months of competition throughout the United Kingdom, the UK Open Final will see the Top 128 money earners in the UK Open Order of Merit come together in a true Festival of Darts to compete for £124,000 in prize money.

For the first two days, seven mini stages and one main stage will be on use as the best aspiring players, some via Laurel Pub competitions, and the world’s elite attempt to become the inaugural UK Open Champion.

This FA Cup style event (with each round re-drawn) will include the best professionals in the world with the likes of Ladbrokes.com World Champion John Part, Ten Times World Champion Phil The Power Taylor, Alan The Ice Man Warriner, Peter Manley, Roland Scholten, Wayne Mardle and Ronnie The Rocket Baxter among a host of professionals topping the bill.

A true test of any player’s ability and stamina, the UK Open will eventually produce a very worthy winner, one who will have to overcome a gruelling three days of darts to emerge victorious.  Sky Sports will cover the event in its entirety with roving cameras and reporters.  Eric Bristow will be in constant audio contact with the ‘mini stages,’ able to transfer to a crucial match at a moment’s notice. A main stage will be the sole focus of attention come Sunday’s quarter finals, semi final and final.

Tickets are now on sale at the Reebok Stadium Ticket Hotline on 0871 871 2932
