Head To Barbados With Cliff & Eric!

If you were to put together a recipe for a great time for a darts player, you would struggle to top the dish that has been created by the PDC and The Barbados Tourism Authority which takes place in Barbados from November 22nd-December 2nd this year.

Group PhotoFirst, take the two most popular, charismatic and sociable darts players on the planet, and mix them with an environment that offers gorgeous beaches, azure blue seas and a temperature always in the early 80's.

Season liberally with darts matches and coaching clinics, round off with a social program that enables you to enjoy all the delights that Barbados has to offer and you have a dish for even the most discerning of darts fans.  Delia Smith, eat your heart out!

The Barbados Masters Darts Tournament enables all those with an interest in darts to have a great holiday, in a superb location, in the company of darts celebrities and enthusiasts from all over the world.

You don't have to be a world-beater to sign up. The word "Masters" in this context refers to age not ability. All you need to take part is a passport that confirms you are 35 or over in the year 2002.

he tournament is looking to attract a wide cross section of entries from places such as the USA, Canada, Europe and other Caribbean countries.

Eric Bristow and Cliff Lazarenko will host the ten nights in Barbados and they will play a full part in all proceedings both on and off the oche.

Tommy Cox of the PDC will be responsible for all darts-related activities and Michael Heal (pictured above with Eric and Cliff) and Sun Living, the Tour Operator with over 20 years experience of organizing sporting tours to the Caribbean, will handle all the travel and social itinerary.

The Barbados Masters Darts takes place from November 22 to December 2, 2002.  The 10 night trip takes in two weekends and prices for US and Canadian residents start from £485 per person – two people sharing a twin/double room.  This price includes 10 nights accommodations, all entry fees, all coaching clinics with Eric Bristow and Cliff Lazarenko, and all transportation to the dart venues.

Parties from the US and Canada need to make their own travel arrangements to Barbados and both American Airlines and the British West Indies Airlines have regular flights.  Folks will need to arrive in Barbados by the afternoon of Friday, November 22, 2002. The tournament concludes on Sunday evening, December 1.  Return flights should be booked starting on Monday, December 2.

All accommodations must be booked at one of the designated tournament hotels through Richard Webster at Tour Operator, Sun Living at 01623 795365 or through Michael Heal at 01372 464666.
