THE draw for the Windy City Open Players Championship, to be held at the Holiday
Inn North Shore in Chicago on Sunday 16 September, has been completed.
Many of the PDC's top names will be crossing the Atlantic, including James Wade, Terry
Jenkins, Peter Manley and Colin Lloyd.
Wayne Mardle will be hoping to back up his victory in the Peachtree Open Players
Championship in Atlanta last month with another title, while Andy Hamilton will travel to America having reached at least the semi-finals of the Bullit World
Darts Trophy.
The top American names will also be competing, with Gary Mawson and Ray Carver hoping to
keep their spots as the top two US players in the PDC North American Order of Merit to confirm their places in the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship - and
Mawson also knows that holding onto first place will earn him an invitation to the PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts.
The event is also important for players looking to win qualifying places for the SkyBet
World Grand Prix, with vital prize money for the Players Championship Order of Merit up for grabs..
