Two important registration deadline changes have occurred for the upcoming Windy
City Open PDC Pro Tour Event, which is scheduled to take place in Chicago on Sunday, September 16, 2007.
Registration for the “Main Draw” event ($145 US) will now close on Tuesday, September 04,
2007 at 10:00 AM —not 8:00 PM as previously advertised.
This change in the cutoff time for registration has been instituted to standardize the
registration deadlines for both European (4 PM – BST) and North American (10 AM – EST) players, and to facilitate the timely completion and posting of the
“Main Event” draw across both continents.
While we do not anticipate that this change to the registration deadline will effect many
players at all, those players who are notorious for registering last minute for events such as this should, in deed, take heed and make note of this important time change. Failure to do so may result in the difference between being able to enter the “Main Draw” directly and having to win their way through in the preceding event qualifier.
Conversely, the online registration deadline for the Pro Tour “Qualifying” event ($40 US)
has been extended and will now close on Sunday, September 09, 2007 at 8:00 PM —not September 04, 2007 as previously advertised.
Please make note of these important changes to registration deadlines for these events and
plan accordingly.
