While we’re certain that thousands of darters, fans and darts enthusiasts across the country
will all be perched anxiously in front of their TV sets this summer to watch the landmark broadcast of ESPN’s World Series of Darts programs, we must also tell
you that simply viewing this program is not enough. Sure, you know you’re watching, and we know you’re watching… But ESPN must also be made to know!
The television ratings game is a tricky business folks. We cannot assume that ESPN will
accurately gauge how many of us are actually watching and applauding this show. The only way to do that —for certain— is for us to tell them! We, as a
community of dedicated sportsman, must light up the phone lines and e-mail boxes of ESPN’s programming offices. We must let them know that —unequivocally— we
are watching and that we want more!
So, by all means, sit back and enjoy the show on ESPN this summer. Cheer on the American
players as they represent us to the world, and revel in darts new found celebrity status. But please, please
do not stop there! There is also a clear call to action here: After each and every episode, take just two minutes at your keyboard to help us let ESPN know that, without a doubt, WE ARE ALL WATCHING and that we like what we see! This is the only way for us to ensure that ESPN and others like them will want to return again and again to bring our sport to life on the small screen, and thereby, to the greatest heights of popularity in history!
Let’s leave them wondering why it took them so long to find us! Click here now and tell ESPN
that you’re watching!
