Medalist Marketing has announced the appointment of Bob Wiles to the company’s expanding
domestic and international sales department.
Wiles, 54, has spent the past two decades in the coin-op industry, including
three years in regional sales for Arachnid on the East Coast, and 10 years as Director of Tournaments and Promotions at Merit.
 “Having known and competed with Bob for over 15 years, we
are ecstatic to have him on the Medalist team,” said Medalist Vice President of Sales Christopher Peppard. “With our Spectrum Avanti line just being
launched, it was critical that we have the right person come on board to help take the Medalist story across the country and around the world. Bob’s
experience and reputation make him a great addition for us.”
Wiles has a lifetime association with darts, having grown up in England where
he organized and played in leagues and events in his father’s pub, just outside of London.
“It’s great to be with a company that is progressive and operator friendly,”
said Wiles. “It’s exciting to be representing the number one selling dart board in the World, and I see great potential for Medalist’s new product line.”
“Those of us in the industry have been aware of Medalist’s reputation and
ability to relate to the street-level operator,” continued Wiles. “Medalist uses
promotions and relationships to sell dart boards, and those are methods I really believe in. It’s time for the rest of the country and Europe to learn what

that message.”
