As the governing body for the sport of soft-tip electronic darting, the NDA establishes
rules of play and sanctions players. The association also represents coin-operated vending company operators who run dart leagues. In both roles,
the NDA benefits from having all major dart manufacturers in the industry as part of the association. “This is an exciting time for the NDA,” said newly
elected Board President Kenny Price. “Medalist’s approval not only brings added value to membership in the NDA, we also hope it will increase NDA
league systems and interest in the sport.”
In order to meet NDA membership standards, Medalist created software to
utilize the NDA’s Points Per Dart and Marks Per Round, skill calculations used for qualification in the NDA’s International Team Dart Tournament.
“Medalist is enthusiastic about our new relationship with the NDA,” said Medalist President Lee Peppard, “We are committed to meeting the NDA’s
standards and working together to raise the industry and sport to new heights.”
The NDA is an international trade association of coin-operated vending
companies representing more than 350 members and 250,000 players worldwide. The NDA was formed by and for coin machine operators to
promote the sport of electronic darting exclusively on an operator-owned equipment. The association offers a variety of programs, materials, and
supplies to support its members in increasing the profitability of their dart operations.
