Headed for ‘Down Under’ The first half of the 2005
World Cup team will be determined at the U.S. Team National playoffs. The balance of the team that travels to Perth in Western Australia will be chosen based on the ADO points ranking for all of 2004.
Each National qualifier receives $150 and a free airline ticket to the beautiful
gambling resort on Lake Tahoe and the location hosts two $10,000 dart tournaments: the 3rd Lake Tahoe Singles Tournament, Sep. 22-23 and the 22nd Truckee Meadows Autumn Open, Sep. 24-26 besides the US Team national finals.
Invest in Your Future The ADO Memorial
Scholarship Fund was established as a means to remember participants in the sport who have passed on. Donations can be made in memory of any friend, teammate or family member; all donations are listed in the Double Eagle, are tax-deductible and are kept in a trust fund separate from the ADO general fund that is administered by three non-board member trustees. $6,000 in scholarships are awarded to the top 8 youth finishers at the National Youth Championships in August every year.
