The ADO team of Stacy Bromberg (Nevada), Donna Carter (Tennessee), John Kuczynski and Bill
Davis (both of Pennsylvania) defeated Canada once again in the finals to bring home the gold. The teams from Jamaica and Trinidad earned bronze medals for
their joint-third finish.
And in a separate WDF singles event, Kuczynski earned the gold over Trinidad's Didekanand
Dyal, while Jamaicans Tenge Brown and Dwight Smith received bronze medals.
Nanette Brookes from Trinidad claimed the gold in the women's singles, leaving Bermuda's
Brenda Hutton to collect the silver. Michelle Stephens (Barbados) and Michelle Terry (Caymans) shared joint third.
Carter outshined the women's field in point per dart averages, ending with a 21.07. Bromberg
was fourth at 19.70. Among the men, Kuczynski ranked No. 1 at 28.93; Davis came in 5th with 25.67.
Each USA team member earned an additional cup for outstanding achievement. The honor of most
180s for the men went to Davis counting 13, as Bromberg led the women's scoring with 3 and stole top honors with her 12 dart game.
Kuczynski took the men's highest checkout with a 167 and earned further recognition when he shared the lowest dart game award with Canada's John Part as each threw 12-darters. Carter capped the women's highest checkout with a 142 finish.
