The New Tropicana World Series of Darts Festival will take place at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino from June 26 through June 30, 2010 and will include 5 major events offering a total of £131,800 in prize money. In addition, each evening, Saturday through Tuesday, there will be a Doubles event open to anyone who wishes to play. Players/Teams may enter on the day for this supplementary events.
This Festival will be a great week of darts action with the chance for North American players to earn ranking points on the North American Order of Merit (NAOoM) which will determine who is invited to the 2011 Ladbrokes.com World Championship and will aid in the selection of the Canadian and United States PDC World Cup Teams. The Festival will kick off with the World Cricket Championship on Saturday followed by the US Open on Sunday, two Players Championships on the Monday and Tuesday and will conclude with the North American Darts Championship.
The World Series of Darts Festival will kick off on Saturday, June 26, with the World Cricket Championship, played in the cricket format of the sport, carrying a prize fund of £15,000 (~$23,000).
Sunday, June 27, will see the £31,600 (~$48,000) PDC US Open Players Championship take place, which will be followed by two further £31,600 Players Championship events on Monday and Tuesday.
The £22,000 (~$33,500) North American Darts Championship, exclusively open to players resident in the USA and Canada, will complete the week’s events on Wednesday, June 30.
All five events will count toward the North NAOoM, along with the two Canadian Players Championship to be held in London, Ontario later in August, for North American residents. The US Open and the two Players Championshps will count toward the main Order of Merit (OoM) and the Players Championship Order of Merit (PCOoM).

Eligibility:
First four events open to all PDPA members and all non-PDPA members residing outside the UK. Current PDPA members must enter through the PDC with entry deadline June 23 at 12:00 noon BST. Non-PDPA members must entry through Bull’s-Eye Marketing, Inc with entry deadline June 22, 8:00 PM EST. The North American Darts Championship is open to residents of North America only.

Entry Fee: $450 / Person (US Funds) for the first four events with entry to the North American Darts Championship free to residents of North America. Players must stay at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino for this entry fee rate. $700 / Person (US Funds) for players not staying at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino. (Players who can prove they reside in the Las Vegas area may enter at the lower rate and are not required to stay at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino.) All players must enter all four events, no options or reductions.

Daily Schedule:
All tournaments will have an 11:00 AM check-in deadline. Any entered player who does not register or check-in by 11:00 AM on the day of the tournament, will be disqualified from that event forfeiting any entry fee. Absolutely no exceptions. The draw will be made once check-in closes at 11:00 AM on the day. All tournaments will commence at 12:00 noon.

Spectator Tickets:
Players who enter the event will receive one guest pass for the duration of the event. There will be a limited number of Spectator admission tickets sold. The number is expected to be around 200, but will depend on the size of the room once the boards have been rigged. These tickets will cost $100 for spectators staying at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino and $200 for those spectators not staying at the Tropicana.

DRA Rules
The standard DRA rules in terms of conduct, dress codes and sponsorship will be enforced at this event. All players who enter are subject to the DRA rules - to see a full rule book, visit www.thedra.co.uk.
Shoes The PDC would like to clarify the rule regarding players' footwear, in 5.25 of the DRA Rule Book. The explanation of this rule is that players must wear all black footwear which does not go above the ankle and does not contain coloured branding or patterns.
